Academic Scholarships
The DCF provides a limited number of one-time-only scholarship awards to qualified high-school graduates from Dublin who who will be enrolled for the next academic year as first-year students at an accredited vocational/technical, community, two-or four-year college or university.
The applicant must be a resident of Dublin, NH. Applications will be reviewed on the basis of academic merit, involvement in school and community activities, and successful completion of the application process
Applications for scholarship assistance are available here or from the guidance departments of the following schools: ConVal; Dublin Christian Academy; Fairwood Bible Community; and, Dublin School. Conval students may use the Conval common application if preferred.
The deadline for applications is May 15th of each year. Recipients will be notified of our selection by June 15th. They are accepted electronically or in paper format.
Annual scholarship awards were inspired by Katherine Staples, a lifelong Dublin resident, and Treasurer of the DCF for more than a decade.
Second Year Scholarship
For recipients of a DCF scholarship in the year of their high school graduation, you are eligible for a second year of your scholarship. You may submit materials through our website, dcf-nh.org; through the mail, DCF PO Box 1036, Dublin NH 03444; or via email, dublincommunityfoundation@gmail.com.
If you would like to apply for a second year, please send us the following:
1. a copy of your transcript for your first year
2. a description of how you have been involved in your college community during your first year. (suggested 200 word minimum)
3. a description of how you think your scholarship extension could benefit you in the future. (suggested 200 word minimum)
4. Please include your name, address, and email address.
Academic Scholarship Application
In addition to completing this application, please:
(1) Have your school submit an official copy of your transcript.
(2) You must submit two letters of recommendation: one from a teacher and the other from an adult who knows you well.
